Croner alternative
Looking for an alternative to Croner?
Croner provides HR, employment law and health and safety advice to UK businesses, with online tools as part of its services. If expert advice on call is central to how you work, an advisory provider such as Croner may suit you. If you mainly need health and safety software to keep assessments, training, incidents and documents organised, Featherstone Safety Hub is a standalone option with published monthly pricing.
Competitor information sourced from public pages and checked June 2026. Features or pricing not clearly advertised as included on their public pages as at that date are not described as included. This is not an authoritative comparison. Verify directly with each provider.

Who switches, and who shouldn't
Organisations that move to the Hub are usually those whose safety work has become routine: they know their risks, they need records kept current and evidence ready for clients, insurers and inspections, and they want to control the system themselves.
If you need someone to take responsibility for advice, write bespoke documents or support you through an HR issue, software alone won't do that, and it isn't meant to.
What the Hub covers
- Risk assessments and COSHH: guided templates, a 5×5 risk matrix and PDF output, on every plan.
- Training management: a training matrix with expiry tracking on every plan; 40 awareness e-learning courses with certificates on Complete.
- Incident reporting: an incident register with RIDDOR screening prompts, on every plan.
- Contractors, fire checks, DSE, permits and environmental: on Professional and above.
- RAMS and CDM: a step-by-step RAMS Builder, construction phase plans, inspections, inductions and subcontractor approval on the Construction plan.
Making the move
