For UK Facilities Management
Health and safety software for facilities management
Facilities management teams do their work on someone else's premises: maintenance engineers, cleaning and security teams, and the specialist contractors they bring in. Featherstone Safety Hub gives an FM provider one place to control that work and evidence it to clients: permits to work, contractor approval, training and competence records for a mobile workforce, COSHH for the products your teams use, and the incidents and checks your contracts require you to report.
Built by Thomas Featherstone TechIOSH, NEBOSH IGC-qualified and IOSH Managing Safely trained. Permits, contractor management and toolbox talks are in the Professional plan at £99 per month, with a 14-day free trial and no long-term contract.

Work on client sites is where the risk sits
An FM contract usually makes you responsible for how your people and your subcontractors work in a building you do not control: hot works near occupied areas, roof and plant-room access, isolations, confined spaces, out-of-hours lone working. The client expects you to have the paperwork before the work starts, and to produce it when something goes wrong.
Featherstone Safety Hub records each of those controls with the location it applies to, so you can show a client what was authorised, by whom and when, rather than searching through job sheets.
- Permits to work: issue, authorise and close permits for hot work, confined spaces and work at height, with a full sign-off trail.
- Contractor control: pre-qualify specialist contractors and track their insurance, RAMS and induction status before they attend site.
- Risk assessments with locations: record lone working, access and task risk assessments against the site they cover, with review dates.
- COSHH for soft services: assess the cleaning and maintenance products your teams carry, with safety data sheets kept on file.
A mobile workforce, one training record
FM engineers and operatives rarely sit in one office, and clients ask for proof of their training and tickets before they arrive. The training matrix holds each person's training and certificate expiry dates in one grid, with overdue alerts, so you can see who is in date for a job before you send them.
Toolbox talks let supervisors record briefings and attendance in the field, which also gives you a dated record for the client.
Evidence your clients ask for
Contract reviews and client audits ask the same questions: are your assessments current, are your people trained, what incidents have there been, are actions closed? The incident register with RIDDOR screening, the actions list and the monthly review give you dated, exportable answers, and the evidence library keeps certificates and inspection reports with expiry tracking.
