The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 apply to every construction project, and on all but the smallest jobs that means dutyholders to record, a construction phase plan to prepare and keep current, and, where there is more than one contractor, a health and safety file to hand over at the end. The regulations do not require software, but they do require you to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the work, and to keep proportionate records.
